I was shoveling snow and the snow shovel slip and went flying into the snow and of course I went flying too into the snow on my back. Right then my watch said I’ve noticed you have fallen are you ok? I said yes Siri I’m fine! I got up and she ask me again are you sure your ok I can call Ems ! I said do not call ems.

The camera control tips are gonna be game changers! Did you know if you hold the button for 3 seconds to find your phone on your watches control center that it also flashes the light on the back!

WOw Gary some very priceless tips! I hate having to unlock my Macs with my password of Touch ID everytime I want to reopen them that alone saves a lot of hassle. I was also unaware of the depth of Find My on the watch and the view screen for pictures is the icing on the Apple cake. Great video!

Thanks Gary! I’m paralyzed with one arm and fell last year breaking my tibia and fibula. Both Google Assistant and Amazon’s Alexa products cannot dial Emergency Services (Yay me!). Having used Apple products since my Mac Plus in 1989, the Apple Watch has interested me but I wasn’t sure if I could access the crown, button or even the screen well enough. Your clip on the Accessibility features sealed the deal. I’m not going to bother waiting on the Series 8 and just placed my Series 7 order which will be here this Tuesday.

Clinching to take pictures!!! First time a videos that says “things you didn’t know” actually though me something I’ll use all the time. First complication on my watch is the Camera control, clinch twice to activate the assistant, clinch once to activate the camera, clinch again to take a selfie. Brillant man!!!!

They used to allow your watch to unlock Notes with a passcode lock on your Mac but that seemed to get taken away with one of the Big Sur updates and was never brought back to Monterey. Miss that feature.

Smart gestures are cool but quick actions is the way of the future for the Apple Watch, I use them every day, no longer do you need to use two hands to answer a phone call, or close a notification, best feature in Watch OS 9 in my opinion!

Hey Gary, I’ve been thinking about buying an Apple Watch and I’m not sure if I should buy one right now or wait until a new one is out, or wait it out? Will there be a price drop to the older models?

I use hand gestures while prep and cooking food, specially if my hands are in dough or touching raw meat, I like to set multiple timers, of course you can just ask Siri and is faster lol but when you’re trying to be quiet is a good option; the timer just vibrate on your wrist and then you stop it with a doble clench. Taadaa 😄. And you can also restart it, set another etc etc.
