These 2 vids are the greatest! Like I said in the other one, GF SO wants a live edge table. After seeing you do this, and how straightforward it appears, I'm going for it. Thanks for these two vids DM.

Such a great product!!!! After watching the 1st video of the walnut slab, I was thinking right off the bat, he's gonna have to do it again. And, you showed just how easy this is to fix . That 2nd pour made that slab look awesome!!!!

Thank you Stanley, I think this looks great! and to be able to do this so cost effectively is amazing. This will help folks who are trying to remodel on a budget for sure. I'd love to see more on how you did the counter tops, including setting them up, the edge treatment et.

You do the coolest things! I saw your pup walking around. I would have had hair flying from my GS and sticking to the epoxy. Great video as always. Thank you.☺🙏

Stan,
Thought you did a good job for your first time. Your correct, Stone Coat is the only epoxy to use. Started watching your channel years ago looking for a contractor with advise . I didnt get paid on a job and was looking for help. It was nice to find someone on the contractors side instead of shows for the whiney homeowners. Hope to meet you someday. I am a fellow Pole also. Your one of the few subscriptions I have. Thank you

They look awesome! I had vision of the pup jumping up on the mantle and knocking it over.

They look great! Wish you would wear PPE though, especially when you sanded the cheaper epoxy off, I learned the hard way. Still suffer from not wearing it. Hives, rashes, eyes swell shut like an allergic reaction.
I won't use anything but SCC anymore, it's the only one I CAN use without any health issues.

When done correctly, they are good for decades. We bought some tree slab end tables in Oregon mid 1980s...still look nice.

Nice. Great video. Looks good. Wax paper would have been great on the plywood you coated the small tops on. I bet it was fun trying to get those off the plywood the next day.

Seriously, this is so cool to watch. I'm having to deal with my Mom's property, she passed over Christmas, I've been looking at Stone Coat, but seeing you guys do it give me some confidence to try something to make this place better.

Looks great Stan! Oil looks better but is a hell of a lot of work - the sanding and repetition of coats as well as the ongoing maintenance. I've seen some stocks and tables with over 100 hours of just the finishing put into them - it shows but isn't worth it for most people. Epoxy is a great solution to get a good finish without the significant investment of time.
