in our lab, one dip in the fixative is already fine instead of several dips.

Nice demo - my only comment is that you should never add the blood drop using wooden applicator sticks as you may get wood shavings/material on the smear. Add the blood drop using a clean microcapillary tube or special applicator.

Where do you get the thick spreader slides shown in the demonstration? Thanks for any info you can share.

Am I the only one that notices that there's holes or like bubble gaps on the slide? I thought it cant have any holes or something like that?

Its rong ! Too short smear, and its not a thumb shape, there is also many gaps
