A little History lesson . Belgium was the colonial ruler of Congo a very brutal rule . After granting independence colonial power attacked again in June 1960 . Patrice Lumumba was assassinated . UN intervened . 20K soldiers with the largest being India assisted to push Belgium and its mercenaries out of Congo . India is still requested by UN to provide support . That is why Indian soldiers are in Congo .

I am a hindu but born and raised in Holland true Surinam and when I buy food on the market with African people they always greet me with namaste and some even speak some sentences. They tell me lots of Indians in Africa doing good work and are respectful to Africans and there culture because they whent true the same colonial strungle.

I met a Nigerian in Switzerland while conversing we spoke about India and I was quick to point out that we Indians are known for our slums and poor people before even I could talk about lifting people out of poverty and the good things about India, he started schooling me on why India is great and how clever we Indians are 😅. I felt good being Indian that day.

That's interesting. Because I have a cousin who is taking a sabbatical from his work to spend at least an year in Ghana teaching Math and Sciences in school there. This is the second time he is visiting Ghana. He has lots of friends from Ghana and they all love him. First time he visited, he worked with few NGOs providing medical support to women and children. He has lot of good things to say about Ghana. This time I am a bit busy with my work but next time around even I am planning to go there. Anyway, best wishes to you all form India. We really wish well for you.

My dad worked in the UN for around 30 yrs, he spent most of his career in African countries like, Sudan/south Sudan, Kenya, Angola, Zimbabwe and others… I personally have been to Kenya and I wish to go back and travel more around Africa ❤️

I had been working in D R Congo for a year or so I was in Lubumbashi, Likasi, Colwezi cities and rural areas around these cities
I found Congolese people very agreeble and easy to work with, They are simple and hard working and good friends

Two options you have - choose a " friend" Who pumps fund, tech, fast but get in your house or choose a friend who will strength yor skills to grow so that tomorrow you don't need to depend on others and never get in to your house with out permission.

I love Africa, yes the entire continent is unique, diverse and like no other place on this planet. When it comes to wildlife and nature it is simply awesome! I have been luck to travel extensively around Africa. One thing that is hugely common between Indian and Africans is their personalities. Both groups generally speaking are very friendly. Indians also. Tend to intigrate easily with Africans. Also Indians generally speaking don't look down on African people unlike Chinese and Westerners. That in itself makes a huge difference.

Indian has ancient trades with Africans as many African individuals has Indian ancestry, and The Siddhis (African merchants) are now in Indian and Pakistan from thousands of years, so we are having ancient ties
