I had a nasty experience with CAW cell also known as Mahila Thana under DV and 498A and Dowry act, kindly take a lawyer if you have to visit a CAW cell . As far as my experience goes, they are worst corrupt, degenerates, and if they say anything write a complaint to a senior officer

Why u have problem if settlement is done outside court. If mediation is successful result in living together or unsuccessful results in settlement through payment, in both the cases it is better for both the husband and wife to get settled earlier and move forward in their life rather than going through dates of court.
