Los Angeles Bans Landlords From Raising Rent Until 2023

Due to rent control and tenant protections put into place because of the pandemic Los Angeles officials have banned the 650,000 rent controlled units from raising rent until 2023. This is in spite of rising costs and record inflation.

If landlords can not raise rent then the state needs to pick up part of the rent. McDonalds should be stopped raising prices on a Big Mac, Grocery stores not allowed to raise food costs, Tax break for all land lords.

Garcetti is generally considered amongst many the dumbest mayor in L.A.'s history. He's incompetent in general. Allows homeless community to increase in size since he's become mayor. His time as mayor has been a true disaster here in L.A. If anyone wants proof just come to L.A. and see all the homeless incampments all throughout the city including Downtown L.A. it's truly horrendous. He chooses to do absolutely NOTHING and just smiles for his no effort as mayor.
So for garcetti to boast about caring about tenants welfare IS a huge joke and is ABSOLUTELY laughable.

Calif also has a new law giving the state 1st right to buy foreclosures before anyone else. So they drive landlords broke and steal their property. They have already bought over 6, 000 units.

I vary much thinking selling my Property in California. The property taxes going up two years in a row almost $1000. They change pro 13 they will do away with it . In California is taking property wrights away.
