I appreciate your enthusiasm, Jack! We should all be working together for the things we know make the world a better place. We may not all think the same way, but there is almost always something we can learn from eachother.

more gardens and less farms; more gabe brown no-till stuff; more mark shepherd perennial foods; more carbon negative heat; apple a day and plant the seeds = 100 tons of sequestration per year.

Hi Jack. Long time listener. I have 5 acres in the high desert. Zip =92311. What would you recommend as a cover crop to start this process? From my research I plan to get Criollo cattle and if I can source them, Damara sheep because they can thrive on the desert shrubbery but I know they would need extra feed that I’d rather be growing already. I’ve looked into sorghum and amaranth but I’m not 100% sure about them yet.

Jack, great video. Also imagine all the people around the world who could be lifted out of poverty by becoming more profitable farmers. There's your "equity" right there.

Not disagreeing here Jack but here in wisconsin we plow in the late fall not spring. Might Disc and plant in May-ish. Some plant winter wheat but it sits pretty dormant most of the winter, probably not taking up much co2, especially when covered in a foot of snow...

Those Ray Archuleta presentations are really eye opening, both the atmospheric carbon and the compaction, rain hydrology/infiltration demonstrations. Shows how screwed up the big ag/government complex has gotten agriculture. Even though Ray was a part of that complex when he began doing those demos. He was a fractional minority. If Gov was serious about turning this around, they would stop paying farmers to not plant, or plant x monocrop instead of y monocrop, and use that money to subsidize an optimized mulitspecies cover cropping to raise organic matter in soils(**** jack address the subsidy point in another reply, so disregard this point). Instead they want to eliminate all livestock from ag, and make plant based "meat". It is like they are doing the exact thing they need to do, to create famine and raise cents per gram of protein higher and higher. and using "climate change" as the boogie man to implement it.

So you think there is to much carbon dioxide in the atmosphere? Tell me what you think think the optimal level of co2 is and how did you come to this conclusion?

How is carbon dioxide in the atmosphere if it is heavier than oxygen which is at ground level?

The answer? There's no co2 in the sky. It falls to the ground.

You got it right and we get to remain guilt-free carnivours. Cheers and thanks.

But, but, Jack! That would eliminate the grift for the overlords.

Growing more trees and other plants is a good idea. At least it is actually a benefit, as opposed to the electric car scam.

Well said Jack! Electric cars aint going to do it. Got to sink it in. Hard to change big farmers that love their big tractors. How would you get farmers to change around without giving them subsidies?

Doofus thinks he’s gonna outlaw tilling, while also complaining about authoritarian emissions laws.

Such a clown.
