Leviticus 11 contains the Creator’s instructions for what we are supposed to consider clean for food as well as very specific things are deemed unclean. Much to the disappointment of many, pigs are on the unclean list. Modern day science, however, has shown time and again the wisdom in commanding us not to eat swine.

I always felt sick when I tried to eat pork, and my doctor finally told me it is not good for Crohn's disease. I am now on a kosher, high protein, low fiber, low sugar diet. When I visited friends for the first time in 2 years they were amazed at how much better and healthier I looked...moved to tears.

It’s not just a health issue, which I agree with anyway, but it is an obedience issue. Yahweh said it, that should be enough for us to obey Him.

I have been studying this for months now. Stopped when I first noticed while studying.
Look how much pork is pushed on us. Bacon on every burger. Pork gelatine in most sweets including haribo and marshmallows. Take notice how much pork pops up around you.
Before studying I was eating pork day in day out. My fry up would have black pudding, sausages and bacon. 3 types of pork product.
I always think If Jesus didn't eat it then that's a good start for me.

I've been seeking His way for a over a year now, first it was the Sabbath, then God's Holy days, but I was hesitating on this topic, cause well, I like the taste of bacon, sausage, ham, pepperoni, etc... But praise YAH it's been 4 months not eating the things He says are unclean.

When I first started reading the bible and going to church I was perplexed with the distortion of the scriptures over the years I found the there was no power in the Christian belief was about to give it away
But God made me read the bible from the beginning where all the standard are laid down and I suddenly understood what he God/jesus is teaching and it makes sense not just for food but all scripture

Bacon 🥓, lobster, and crab 🦀 taste delicious...true. I used to eat them all the time. But following the WORD is even better. Maybe the taste is delicious because it's wrong to eat. Sin is fun too, until you either know better or get punished. I'm not condemning anyone to hell for eating such...as I'm not the FATHER. HE will ultimately be the one who decides who enters the kingdom.
I tell people what the Bible says, and let them decide for themselves. People have a right to sin (sadly too many except that right). We can't force the truth (allthough sometimes I wish we could). Peace be unto you my brothers and sisters!

Thank you so much for this information. I just told my family that we are giving up pork because we are practicing Tora and the whole bible. I didn't have much information about why we are supposed to stay away from eating pig and this was so so perfect and right on time. I will share this information with my family so they will know that God really does know best! God bless.

I remember taking a food handling safety class for one of my jobs just a few years back. They specifically said pork, no matter cured, cooked, or modified, it's still able to contain worms and parasites even after all that.

I clearly remember the day He opened my eyes to Leviticus 11 and I realized I could never again eat bacon or boiled Maine lobster with melted butter, things I had enjoyed my whole life, but both only occasionally. I never touched either again and don’t miss them at all, nor do I have a craving for vulture stew, roasted alligator or deep fried cockroaches. God is so good in His care and protection of us if we who know very little will just obey Him who knows all.

..it's the right understanding you are sharing. It is also sad that there are so numerous dislikes of this understanding, ..not unlike what has been written in Jeremiah.

I was offered to join in a pork meal at work. I politely declined stating that I didn't eat pork. The response was, who doesn't eat pork?! I responded with, God tells tells us pork is not food for you.
