Definitely can be friends. I was with my ex for three years and split and we've been best friends since. Certain things didn't work in the relationship and we understood that we didn't want that to jeopardise anything else.

Ugh I know the feeling. I know being mad at them isn't the answer, but they start catching feelings then they have the ✨audacity✨ to say I started it. It's not fair that they have these illusions and out of the blue they put it out on me, making our relationship so akward. At the end of the day, men will be men and any meaningful relationship is not worth having if they cross boundaries. This also applies for female friends too.

When your friend group is full of bi/pansexuals you start to realize that this isn’t true for everyone otherwise none of us could have friends 😂😂. Sure some people have that type of relationship and it may be common between straight guys/girls but honestly I‘ e had plenty of male friends in both ways and it’s definelty different.

I agree and therefore, my friendships stay that way and upgrade to family. So yes I do think men and women can be friends

Some of my best friend have been dudes, that knew me before and during a 19y relationship, so far, still friends, no boundary's crossed.

Yes, they definitely can! I have lots of male friends. When Harry Met Sally Ruined this idea but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

I was posted to an Army unit that only had 3 females so I didn't really have a choice.😊 They knew pretty quickly that I wasn't going to touch them with a 10ft pole. It worked and I have lasting friendships with them 30 years on.

It's possible, but if one person is attracted to the other it could complicate things. I have female friends who have confessed to having feelings for me, and I was able to decline and maintain the friendship. I, however, so far have been unable to be friends with women that I'm attracted to. And it's my fault, it's too difficult.

Absolutely! I am married but my best friend is male. I have known him longer than my husband, so why would that change? He is also in a long-term committed relationship, and she has become a very close friend.

If there a no attraction for both of you to the other or you ve known each other for years, men and women can definately be friends. But you can't have an intimate relationship and then just be friends. Imo

Yes I’ve had several male buddies I’ve clicked with over the years and zero boundaries crossed over years of friendship.
