My stepdad rescued a ton of fancy goldfish from a hotel who left them all in a 1 gal bucket. Mind you these are 6in + goldfish. They were gasping for air in the small amount of room they had. He brought them home and i fell in love :( The telescope is the hugest one and its so beautiful but has severe swim bladder, considering feeding pea after ill just do the little surgery of extracting air

I've tried all of this, and my goldfish still has problems every evening. There's one other goldfish in the 29 gal tank, and it's fine. I've tried general cure(that I put in their Repashy Gel Food. I've used antibiotics. I've tried EVERYTHING! I've had her 2 years, and when I first got her, she was fine. She's grown a lot. I just don't want her to die. pH is about 7.4. Nitrites 0 ppm, Ammonia 0. Nitrates are about 20 ppm. What else can I do? I have cooked, deshelled peas, but nothing helps. I have lots of plants in my aquarium. I siphon it once a week. What should I do? I don't want to lose her! I love her. She snaps back in the morning. It's ridiculous. She and the male are great friends. She has Oranda bred in her, but she has a normal, elongated body. She is beautiful and begs for food, along with the other goldfish, everyday. It's a beautiful aquarium. I keep on thinking she has a parasite, but she is very active and loves to eat. I fed her a tiny piece of repashi gel food(because she usually does better with that), and she is right back up at the surface again, with swim bladder problems. Feeling frustrated!

What about for goldfish?is ok to i use api aquarium sald??if one from my fish have a red mark on tail, and another have something underskin close to tail, like a bubble under skin with something brown or red...

I think my poor black moor is constipated. He’s the smallest out of my three goldfish. Everyone else is happy and water parameters are perfect. I left for a few days on vacation and resumed feeding normally when I got back. The second day, he was bottom sitting. I had heard about veggies before, but I wanted to know if there’s a way I can keep this from happening again. Am I supposed to do something special after they have not eaten for a few days?

My fish got stuck in the filter she’s on the bottom of the tank she tries n tries but can’t get up. Her tail is just about gone. She still eats and chases the fry. I think she still shaking eggs out or is she trying. Has she swim bladder or stuck eggs. I’ve tried epsom salt and peas and both haven’t worked. Please help.

I have a tiny ranchu whose the tiniest among the others that I have he/she stays swimming upsidedown for a of week now I had given it an epsom salt bath for this 4 days still it doesn't recover yet I think it was genetic since I only have it last November when it was still 2 or 3 weeks old. I want to euthanize it but I can't because it was my favorite among the other 11 ranchus that I have. I can't decide if to end the suffering or just leave it spend it's life being loved and cared but suffering like that.
