Thank you! This epsom salts treatment worked for my sail fin swordfish that was wiggling around, upside down on the bottom of the tank. He was constipated-pooped a lot! Thank you again! Your video is now in my aquarium fish library of go-to's.🧡

You saved my fish! This worked very well on my mimic saddleback. Thank you!

1. Used one gallon pitcher
2. Tank water into pitcher about 85% full
3. Added very small 30gph pump in for circulation
4. Added a small 50 watt heater
5. 3/4 tablespoon of epsom salts (more is NOT better)
6. 1/6 of a scoop of Kanaplex (more is NOT better)
7. Added small rock for fish to hide or attach itself to
8. After mixed and up to temp,
9. Added affected fish
10. Left fish alone for 3 hours
11. Removed and placed back in main display tank, swimming around not bloated, happy and healthy
12. Follow-up, Still not bloated and still swimming happy and healthy 24 hours later

I don't know what i did wrong but my cory passed away, maybe i was too late or maybe it was their time, whatever it was thank you for the wonderful information and we should all strive to become better fish keepers even if you think your good enough try to go beyond.

Excellent Video! Is it true Epsom salt bath is not suitable for Oscar because it doesn't has scale ? We have a few Oscars and they all will swim at mid water tank level but one is always staying at bottom in normal position. It can swim up to surface to eat and swim right down after eating. No Signs of external body issues found. Any idea what's wrong?

Do I have to do both the medication and the epsom salt and am I using both of those medications or which is better to use?

As far as the pea goes...if the fish can't swim properly, it can't eat

My betta has been laying dwn on the bottom of the tank and not moving. I noticed it yesterday. Hes alive but not moving at all. I know he has swim bladder disease. I thought he was dead and when I went to get him he moved so he is alive. What should I do to help him. I cleaned it the day before and he was fine. Any suggestions.
