In this gentle eleven-minute follow-along stretching video, physiotherapist Jay Milomo is joined by Sylvia who lives with arthritis. Together they demonstrate commonly recommended elbow exercises for people living with arthritis and other musculoskeletal conditions, including elbow bend, wrist flex, wrist extension, wrist turn and wrist lift with weight. This session will be beneficial for stretching the muscles around the elbow joint and improving the joint range of movement. Designed to be incorporated into your daily routine, these exercises can be done anywhere and make use of everyday items.

Items to bring along: Tin can or light weight (optional).

I am so grateful I found this, I haven't even finished the video yet and my wrist pain already improved. Nothing else so far worked. I need to start integrating this into a routine.

Thank you! I'm only 17 but I got injured a couple years ago and I needed to get surgery. Afterwards, my doctors told me I had arthritis in my left elbow, I've been trying to stay active but occasionally pain flares up in my left elbow. After going through the exercises in the video I already feel much better! As a teen I kinda get lazy and skip over it but stretching is definitely important 😅

Excellent video - made a whole lot of difference to me. My elbow pains are literally gone. I was having elbow pain even lifting a cup of coffee.
What i gained from this video is the different exercises that worked and stretched some of those muscles that don't get used as much.
These are simple exercises that can be done whilst watching tv, in the office, etc.

Thank you for these elbow stretching exercises. I will put them in use to keep my elbows wrists and fingers supple, as I do suffer from cramps of my fingers.

In the second stretch series when you bring the hand completely back so bending the fingers towards the ceiling.
What does that mean if I can't lift my hand back like that at all?
What part of my body is in dysfunction?

Hello, Im 20 years old, when i was younger i was skating for 3 years and i had so many direct hits and blows right in the elbow and especially in the olecranon.Somtimes i was feeling like I had broke it.When i stop skateboarding i didn't have any pain but 2 years later(now)my olecranon started to hurt so much. It is Very very sensitive even with the touch.I mean i can't even rest my hand in the table.i have this pain for 9moths now.The MRI say's that i have edema(post traumatic origin) in the olecranon and high intensity signals with T2 sequences with fat suppression.Maybe i have bone morrow edema.what surgical options i have to relieve from this sensitive olecranon and avoid as much as possible post-traumatic arthritis? can somehow a bone graft help? Thanks
