He doesnt compare investing in stock to farming. He compares it to INVESTING in a farm. HUGE difference.

Amen brother. Investing isn't that complicated.

I can't believe this is the state of our financial journalists. Do they even listen to what Buffett is saying or are they just offended that great investors don't listen to the daily noise that journalists force down the throat of the investment community?

So they air the clip with Buffet, in which he very clearly expresses what his view about long term investments and then they spend the rest of the time in the studio trying to find subtle flaws and tell the viewer he didn’t really mean everything he said and try to fill in for the one of the worlds greatest investors and say what they think he meant, it’s ridiculous.

I agree with Buffett and disagree with Yahoo staff. If you're going to sell the farm anytime you see a bad tomato you shouldn't be in the stock market

So apple is like a farm...Serwer is not getting the point Buffet is making and often gets him to repeat and elaborate.

It's awesome to look back and watch these folks mock warren... This video was posted March 2019 apple was about 40 dollars a share and today is 140 dollars a share..

They act like they know more than Buffett, or like he doesn't make sense. But if they understood they wouldn't be interviewing people, they would be the ones getting interviewed.

So the analysts get it wrong again... He didn’t go on a tangent, farmers might look at their crops everyday but the investor doesn’t have to, etc.

Essentially just have a long term view after you’ve chosen the right “farm” and don’t pay analysts useless fees

The absolute epitome of Dunning-Kruger on display in this video. I'm curious how all the portfolio's of these people who think they know better than Buffett about what an INVESTOR needs to worry about look like. It is exactly like owning a farm - you leave the farming to the farmer, and so long as a meteor doesn't crash into the farm, a farm will continue to produce as long as good farmers farm it. Same with Apple. If Buffett is willing to hold onto Wells Fargo, he is not at all worried about Apple. Big yikes by Yahoo Finance. Somehow I ended up here, pretty terrible first impression.

Warren Buffett has spoken and confirmed that Apple is a farm.
Obviously, Forrest Gump was right when calling it a fruit company.

“Macro enough view” - so cutely balances other’s sarcastic comments. She is adorable.

Warren teaches us investment as buying a farm. It is true.

3:25 She clearly doesn't understand that there's a difference between CEO's and stockholders.

Unlike the rational farmer, this one will sometimes pluck out producing trees simply because he suspects those trees of harboring the wrong ideas ('evil spirits')
