I got 40 chickens 13 of them are roosters and I am planning to go pick up for more roosters from someone that doesn't want them I get these roosters because I prefer roosters over hands cuz they're like dogs the hens just have the extra bonus of the egg

I had two rosters fight off a fox one time. Couldn't believe it. Wen the fox tried to grab one the other would attack. By the time I got out there the fox was gone.

My mum keeps som chickens, she always cooks the man until she has 2-3 left, she cooks them left over 2-3 man after the new generation of chicken and roosters are of the age

okay idk if this is a believable story or not since i never grew up raising chickens or am now, , but last year my boyfriends family( who do happen to raise chickens) heard a large animal one night, they thought it was a bear attacking the chicken coop and the following morning, since his father didnt want anyone to risk going outside to check on them even with firearms, , and the rooster was completely intact as well as all of the chickens other than a few of the feathers from his plume scattered about the dooryard😭😭😭 so in my very limited knowledge on them, , THEY DEFINITELY HAVE A PURPOSE LOLZ
