Today i want to clear up some of the confusion when trying to select the best trimmer for your haircuts. You don't always need the most power when using a trimmer to make sharp lines. Most barbers i know have 2 or more trimmers in their arsenal one that they zero gap allowing it to cut very close the other Trimmer is setback and useful in those sensitive skin areas.

Im a Cosmetologist, but there's a noticeable amount of men coming to chain salons requesting, what I refer to as, "barber's fades." So, I find myself disappointed with Babyliss, but because I don't know any barbers, I can't dabble in the tools (get the feel, the noise level, etc.). How could I have possibly known I'd rather be a barber?! Being a Cosmetologist is definitely subpar. How do you find shows and events where you can see all this stuff firsthand?

I agree that the Flex is a great all around machine. My pick out of the whole Stylecraft lineup is definitely the Rebel. I love it and think it’s a phenomenal machine, regardless of the price. That rotary motor and blade combo can do everything at a very high level. I’m super impressed.

Now…

In my opinion, the Saber gets destroyed by the Cyborg, SNAPFX, Flex, Rebel, and the TPOB X. I have all of them and the Saber is loved by many. However, I’m just not on that train and I think it’s because mine was a lemon. It was crazy loud, the stand didn’t work half the time, and I felt like I was holding and using a $100-110 machine (at most). I don’t think they sent me a used one, I just think it was defective. Who knows..?

I can definitely vouch for the Rebel and the Flex though. Great content per usual, Eddie. Thank you dude!

Recently i bought a reg Walmart clippers to shave my head but it just doesn't give a clean shave, i would have to use a razor blade to finish it off.
Any recommendationson the right tool for shaved head?

Instinct is trimmer just get the instinct you can do everything with it ergonomically flex great but wish that motor was more powerful like maybe put the rebel motor from the clipper in it ? Or figure out a instinct motor in it same goes with rebel clipper i wish they put a vector motor in it

I’m wondering if someone can help me… I’m not a barber but I need a good trimmer for my personal use. I just got the Phillips Norelco multigroom-9000 trimmer. It’s built pretty good but it doesn’t seem to cut that close… also, it says you don’t need to oil the “dual cutting blades”? That doesn’t make sense to me… how/why wouldn’t a stainless steel blade not need to be oiled? It’s not a ceramic blade so should I oil these blades or no?

Bro thanks so much! I appreciate you like you would never imagine! Honestly other than you no one does the 1 video where I can find all the info I need! I love how you broke it down. Whoever said trimmers are not for removing bulk are probably new to barbering or are making peanuts for money,

This was amazing I was debating between the flex and the rebel trimmer and now I know to go with the flex! Thanks again

My first and only gamma/stylecraft trimmers I got are the absolute hitters and honestly, they are straight ass. I feel like due to the poor experience from the trimmer, I heavily avoid their trimmers now. Very very hesitant on giving the brand another chance at their trimmers
