This shit crazy… I’m 26, I’ve been cutting hair since I was 13 with the same clippers and just now figuring out this information 😅… granted I never went to school for this. I did a cut today with the fusion blade and man I wasn’t used to it cutting that low! The open fade felt lower then the tape blade. Definitely have to get used to it!

I tried the faper blade and really wanted to like and it seems everyone is making that style lately but I like the way taper blades fade more. I use the faper with a ceramic staggertooth blade to blend out my last line but that’s it.

So pretty much if I have a fade blade, I really don’t need a “faper” right? I might as well get me a clipper that has a taper blade right? A fade blade is mainly to knock off that hard line created with the trimmer right?

what if you put the stretch bracket on the wahl senior with its wahl back blade and ceramic cutting blade? will it extend to a 3mm from a 000?

also at 7:30, can i still do regular haircuts with that sc blade? like if i throw on a 1 or 2 guard, will it be effective in cutting hair cleanly with that taper blade?

Hey there Sean, love your videos and content. The education here is incredible, especially for new barbers and for those that like to experiment to see what works best for them! I personally like to have all three blades at my station faper, taper & fade blades. I have yet to try the Babyliss wedge blades. Plan on trying those next.

I’ve had great luck with the TPOB taper blade. It’s, for me, the perfect in between.
Like the SC Fusion blade it’s a wedged taper blade.

What blade would you recommend to use for a beginner trying to do a high fade? with the self cut system dark night clipper how much would i have to adjust the blade for that? What's a good starting trimmer and shaver as well?

Best taper blade for wahl ? Im looking at babyliss blades looks a bit thinner than the old wahl taper blades. Does gamma taper fit wahls?

should I switch to the Wahl taper blade or switch to the masters blade on my senior? I kinda don't like the Wahl Guard system. Seem like it takes longer. I only cut my son and my hair.

One question so original corded Andis masters I have the blade on my JRL now so that’s a fade blade ? Does the masters make a taper blade or is a master blade a masters blade ? I see they have different master options I see #22 and #28 for replacement options. Let me know your insight please. I will follow what you tell me to do I base what I do mostly off you brotha.

Ok I’ve always wonder about the fusion blade a good reason to buy another clipper with a fusion blade I could sure put it to use a I normally use a fade blade to remove those hard to remove lines especially on dense hair after shaving
