The instinct is good to remove bulk. The Hi Viz is a liner more then a bulk remover due to the thin black static blade.

Trimmers aren’t meant to take down bulk. They are made to do line ups and to do small detail work.

That hair on the temple area is so much lighter and easy to remove than the hair on the back of the head… this is kind of a flawed test.

I find myself always coming back to this video. Which one do YOU prefer and why? I just got the instinct and while I love the power, I'm not a fan of deep tooth blades. I feel like it just gives more space for the hair to go in before actually getting cut, so imo for lining up it's better to not have a deep tooth. I'm thinking about switching the blade out on it.

I have the flex and the instinct I love both but I've been using the instinct more for balding and to me it's more of a work horse then the flex. But the flex is 🔥 I see people hating on the instinct trimmer but as of now its my go to trimmer.
