I really like this car, especially in this spec. Perfect amount of power for the daily commute without sacrificing range, very well equipped, and an amazing sound system. It’s a shame it doesn’t get the tax credit anymore. BMW really struck a good balance in incorporating all the benefits of an EV without too many of the downfalls, minus the deletion of physical climate controls.

I never thought I would like an electric car, but here we are. The i4 eDrive 40 just seems to do everything right, and it seems like a great package. Great review!

After testing an i4 M50 (and VW ID.4, Ford Mach-E, Tesla Y, Ioniq 5, EV6, and BMW iX) we ordered an e40 M Sport that’s in transit. We preferred the driving dynamics of the i4 to the others, along with fit & finish. While we would have preferred 18” wheels, we wanted the adaptive suspension, dynamic steering, and upsized brakes that required the M package and staggered 19s. I learned to drive in the era of front-heavy RWD cars with bias ply tires, so we’re going to see how the all season (i.e. no season) OEM tires cope with that. For bad winter days we have a B9 Audi S4 running aftermarket 18” wheels and Nokian Hakkas in season. We’ll probably end up putting snow tires on the i4 and looking for the unicorn perfect EV summer tire. That would mean low-ish rolling resistance, low noise, high-ish wear considering the weight of the i4, and rear wheel torque, but adequate grip.

i have a 22 m240i and the radio sometimes does that to me too, you have to hold down the power button for 30 secs until it powers off and it reboots, usually that solves most issues w/ infotainment - also surprised you have to pay for the sound generation

Awesome video, about the sound system... I had watch 3 other video people talking about the BMW Harmon sound system is worse than Polestar and it's not good...even need to plus money...

Wich car has the better sound system ? Lincoln aviator or yukon denali ?

I tried the aviator, but i wasn't satisfied with the sound system, i haven't tried danali's sound system yet

So is the aviator's sound system better or worse than the denali's sound system ?

Because I'm considering buying one of these vehicles
