Why Didn't Anakin Skywalker HAVE Sith Eyes Against Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars?

Not surprisingly, when he was getting roasted, he had his sith eyes back again. There was surly no joy in being cooked alive

He was emotionally conflicted throughout the entire fight. There’s an argument for him being hasty to end the fight, thus causing him the mistake that killed him.

Nice short man this always confused me I didn't know this one. Him having sith eyes when killing the separatist and not having them while fighting obi wan when he was so pissed and enraged at obi wan and then having the sith eyes when obi wan cut his legs and left hand off always confused me thanks for clearing it up for me now I know.👍👍🙂

The Sith eyes faded due to the conflict he was feeling around Obi Wan.

He wasn't fully embracing the dark side when he fought Obi Wan on Mustafar.

But when slaughtering the Separatists, he was full of anger, hatred and rage to draw upon the dark side for his eyes to turn Sith red and yellow but later calmed down and went back to blue.

When he had his remaining limbs chopped off, his eyes started changing to Sith red and yellow, his anger, hatred, and rage, was at it's peak as he screamed " I HATE YOU" at Obi Wan and burning to a crisp.

The dark side had fully corrupted him by that point.

I think its because when he and Obi-Wan were arguing and even when they were fighting Anakin was not fully committed. He was doing what he convinced himself was what he was supposed to do in order to save Padme.

Around the end of the fight, he gains sith eyes, but that’s only after Obi-Wan cuts his limbs off. You can also notice when obi-Wan says “you were my brother Anakin. I loved you” is the moment his eyes fully turned orange. The rejection of his master as well as a combination of the burning limbs, fuelled his rage, even more.

He was clearly saving his hatred for a life threatening moment, and when he used it, his focus on Obi-Wan was stronger than his focus on the fact that his life was being burnt away.
