VLOOKUP is it ! I love & voted VLOOKUP and Aggregate for backward compatibility. I have both the hard & soft copies of your book.

it has to be the first one Lookup - it didn't need anything beyond Excel 2016, but # 3 Formula if I had Office 365. I'm winning everyday by watching your videos... thank you Mike!

INDEX & MATCH wins.... at least in my opinion. As Leila mentioned already I also can highly recommend your book to everybody.

I personally voted for the Index & Match with the Maxifs, because I liked the index part where you do not have to use CSE and no sorting. I didn't know that you can vote for more than one so I re Voted for the Sumifs & Maxifs since you do not require sorting and joining :) Thanks Mike

INDEX & MATCH, AGGREGATE Array Formula FTW!

A sorted helper column (#1484) is the simplest solution and simpler gets my vote when it comes to debugging others' formulas. Sometimes you might have to join more than 2 columns for a unique identifier. Still only requires sorting one simple join column and one easy vlookup. I'm not saying it's the best, but it's my preferred. :) Awesome set of solutions Mike.
