Agreed, so personal effort is absolutely required in the process of salvation. Yes, Jesus did what we could not, but he did not negate our personal responsibility nor obviate us of any effort our part. This verse was spoken to baptized believing members of the church.

Eventually you will come to an understanding of what Salvation means to you personally. When you accept it and choose to live in this understanding then you will be at peace. No ad on's necessary. No striving. No have too's. No being swept to and fro by winds and doctrines. Just Peace in the Love of God and His Sanctuary.

Pastor its like fearful and cowardly cannot enter Heaven....its a you try working your way into Heaven....do it in Fear and cannot earn a place in is of is not of Heaven....it is the Home of the who are long suffering and enduring to the think they are GOOD people and are going to Christ is the only basically you cannot work out your own been worked out for us on the cross of Jesus Christ
