When this movie played at my work, I asked all the elderly Mormon folk if it was a Martial Arts movie and they got upset. I later called it a kung fu movie and asked an old lady if it was in any relation to Bulletproof Monk.

This is not a Christian movie. This is a Mormon movie. Mormons are not Christian. Mormonism is built on the lies of a man named Joseph Smith who was found guilty by a Justice of the Peace for using a 'magical' stone to deceive innocent victims into believing he could find hidden treasure buried in the ground. After his arrest and subsequent trial, Smith was convicted of being a disorderly person and an impostor and a glass looker.

In 1830, this same Joseph Smith created a religion that was contrary to orthodox Christianity and contrary to that which was taught by the first century apostles of Jesus Christ. Smith plagiarized material to concoct The Book of Mormon and the first thing he did was offer it for sale at the E.B. Grandin bookstore on March 26 of that same year.

Today, it is the Public Relations machine of the Mormon Church that continues to present Smith's opposing gospel to the world as authentic and divine, intentionally hiding her not-so-distant past that is marred by the shifty and deceitful character of its founder and fathers.
This movie is another attempt at whitewashing the sordid reputation and beginnings of the Mormon Church.

If you are a Mormon and reading this, you must deeply consider that you have been deceived by a 19th century charlatan who usurped the eternal Word of God with a magical stone and a plagiarized fake religious book. If you die believing that Joseph Smith and the Mormon Church will save you, you will not see heaven, "For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ" (1 Cor 3:11).

If you wish to possess eternal life you must leave the Mormon Church and come to the Jesus of the Bible. The Mormon Church will not save you. Joseph Smith will not save you. It is only through the Jesus of the Bible, who is the One and only God in the flesh and who died for your sins that can give you true eternal life.
