Bought a used 15PM from my best friend for $650 with 87% battery health. I then sold my 13 PM for $400 so I only spent $250 for a 15PM then I put a new battery in it so I am starting like a new phone! So $350 out of pocket is a deal of the century!

Honestly I’d say that the 16 Pro Max isn’t worth it if you have the 15PM since we have like 95 percent of the 16PM already. From what it sounds like Apple Intelligence is gonna get spoon fed to us in updates over the next year so maybe it’ll be complete when the 17 series comes out.

If there was a case on both phones you can’t tell them apart. I have a 15 Pro Max and my son has a 16 Pro Max which both have Torras cases, can’t tell them apart just by looking at them. The 16 Pro Max Torras case has an opening for the camera control button. He uses that camera button just by enabling the camera then sets the action button to something else. So basically he uses these as two action buttons. The 15 Pro Max is compatible with Apple Intelligence so no need to upgrade to a 16 Pro series. Oh, Torras cases are the shit.

Used iPhone 15 pro max is around $800 on market place vs new iPhone 16 pro max $1300+tax $800 vs $1300. $500 difference. Not rather buy the iPhone 15 pro max.

Just switched over from Android, iPhone 15 pro max is just similar in performance with my wife S24 ultra - it is well build, battery life can be great if u optimise setting correctly. And save few bucks over the hyped iPhone 16 pro max

Hey Tausif, just curious, did u notice any brightness differnece between 15pm and 16pm? To me i feel like 16PM is bit dimmer than 15 PM at same brightness level. I use my phone at 40% brightness then notice 15PM is brighter. Read at reddit seems lot of users having same feeling, not sure its ios bug or just LG vs Samsung display thing

I am actually not gonna upgrade to the iPhone 16 pro max from my 15 pm, imo the only thing that would like if I upgraded is the triple a gaming performance but I really don’t think the price is worth it btw yes the iPhone 16 pm is so much better at cooling the phone when playing these games but I just bought a phone fan and that made a great fps boost, so I’m not gonna upgrade

I went from 15 PM to 16 PM for better battery and thermal, my 15 PM battery is still terrible maybe heat has something to do with it, the camera controls is only useful for quick camera access nothing else, the on screen controls are much better and quicker IMO

If you upgrade from the 15 Pro Max to the 16 Pro Max you are NUTZ!! The iPhone 17 Air is a better buy believe me. If you upgrade from the 15 Pro Max to the 17 Pro Max then that is like buying a new generation of the BMW say M3 or M5 in it’s entirety vs a fresh upgrade from the last years model to the final going out years model BMW. You can use this analogy on Mercedes-Benz, Tesla, Honda, Acura or say a new Corvette. But we all know that the 17 is going to be a DAMN GAME CHANGER!! Thinner, no one cares that is going to be faster by 20% who gives an actual f**k?? My point is unless you are getting this phone for free then just wait it out only 11 months to go and you will have the iPhone 17 and 18, 19, 20 all looking the same with minor if not tiny/minuscule changes. Oh look the battery is 30 minutes better and now the fastest chip in planet Earth and 500 times better than any Sony camera or cellphone camera they make, we are the best, we ruin the Androids all day long and no one is better than us!! According to Tim Cook boy. Don’t make this trillion dollar company any richer so the top guys make $20 million dollar bonus checks all on your dime because you want something not worth upgrading to. Now if they took in your iPhone 15 Pro Max at $1, 000 vs the 50% sale price they want to give you which is $650 then take the $1, 000 and upgrade for $300 to $600 dollars depending on the storage you want. And people stop buying the 1TB or 2TB options on these phones whether it’s at the time of sale or they try and sell it to you yearly on iCloud for 2TB’s for $9.99 per month. Hence why they make trillions of dollars and people buy it like it’s candy.
