What I say now sounds wierd but I got one a few weeks ago (just for fun, you know and I liked the look) - since then I don´t play my Engel Savage anymore😲! And she has a name: Frida! My Engel just amplifies my guitars, but Frida puts character and soul into the sound! 😀 Good job, Thomann!!

Great short review. I know they probably won't let you, but I would love to see the interior and how well everything is wired together, tied off, etc. Maybe a side by side with amps in a similar price range. Also, liked the shirt, but I never see you with a goat shirt. Do you have something against hollow horned ruminants? Are they not good enough for the Henning collection??? How bout a baby goat shirt next time?
🤣

You have just made that great singlecut B-stock!

Tube 15 combo has a 3 knob tonestack and a fourth tone knob too. I think, it`s a presence pot in the power amp section.

These sound great, because it is a Laney VC-30. I had the Monoprice version (exact same controls, size, specs, looks as this) and it had a Laney PCB board inside it with the "Laney" branding gooped over. The original is a well regarded amp, mine also came with all JJ tubes.

Sounds great! Honestly, what more do most players need? I have several HB guitars. All of them decent with only one of them having an issue, which is typical for any brand in that price range from China. I don't know about long term reliability of HB amps, there can always be problems with tube amps, even expensive ones. Consult the internet on that. But I would definitely buy one if I didn't have more than I need already. The size, the price, the sound, the (sensible) 30 watts. Worth looking at for practice, backup, or not taking your Mesa/Marshall/Fender to sketchy venues. Bang for the buck!

Nice little amp! The OD sounded ok ? but didn´t blow me away! The cleans were very clean! Maybe a good pedal platform? I wanna see an indepth review please young man, with a ton of pedals! 🙂

6:00 Just like on the Tube-15 the tone is working on the amp, not on the reverb. However, it's position on the frontpanel may suggests otherwise. I have the Tube 15 already for about 4 years now. I use it as a "to-go-amp" for rehearsals, jams etc. but it's also good for some serious gigging. I like the sound of this Tube-30 as well, also because it's a 2-channele amp. The Tube-15, due to being 1 channel, lacks of course some headroom every now and then.

Henning, you make the most fun demo vids.
Thanks for keeping me informed and entertained

I did notice that "overdrive" section has both Gain and Overdrive knob. Put Gain on 10 o'clock and crank the Overdrive, you might have "Highgain" then.😁

I do get the idea, which is why I'm tiring of many YouTube channels.

Nice review, thanks. I have a HB15 watt tube combo. It's a great loud practice/small gigs/recording amp at a good price.

This 30watt head isn't the same thing - it doesn't have any attenuator. Which is right, nobody buys a thirty-watt head for a practice amp. It needs a cabinet and it's for gigging. So we're actually looking at building a rig here for a ballpark in total. That's around four times the outlay for the lil' ol' practice-amp 15 Celestion suitcase practice amp.

So....what we have here is very nice but we need to hear it cranked. As the man says "It just goes louder" really. We want to know how the clean headroom holds up, dialling in country, baritone chugging, jangle etc, how it takes pedals at drumkit-levels. A paid promo would be a little more use if we spoke about this and the very-important cabinet to accompany it rather than the guitar at conversation levels. A common-or-garden closed-back instance?

Then talk about stuffing a bought-new-empty-2x12-cab with a couple of Celestions etc. In fact, he tells us he's playing through a couple of Celestion Blues, a high-dollar speaker with a great character which should compliment any amp they do - at midget levels. So we need to know the impedance provisions on the back of any amp head and it would be nice to hear what this amp can actually do.. Any old reasonably-priced and recognisable guitar will do....and a player that's comfortable beyond the twelfth fret and aware of a few common styles and licks (now THAT's an OLD word!) rather than "personal noodling in the bedroom" repertoire from someone that doesn't know what a Celestion Blue is, why it costs the way it does, or how to record any louder than he can IMHO ('course).

Nice review. Thanks. Nice guitar too!

What footswitch would I have to buy to use with this?

I suspect a lot of the sound quality can be attributed to the well-built cabinet (i. e. the speakers).

My first guitar was an SC Csutom 2. I really liked it, but! The wires are crap. The pick up switch was crazy when I played like 25-30 hours on it The jack input is always lose, no matter what I am doing. And the knobs are not that responsive. And it has a few minor issues (cosmetic mostly)
I own a Schecter Omen Extreme now and I have to say the SC Custom II was a good first guitar, but if I had known that the Schecter is so much better in every way, I definitely would have spent the extra money and chosen it as my first guitar. Not only is it better, but it will be perfectly suitable for years because it's a great guitar.

HB range is lacking affordable reactive load for the tube amps.
