Used under 500 bucks, not new! They are out there. I'm gonna do a video soon on the best ways to search for deals so you can find one too.

Used prices have skyrocketed on these, but prices have been getting a little better recently

This is a 1200 dollar amp new. Prices went up they used to cost around 750 new about two years ago. Even used now are around 5 to 600 bucks. Luckily I found one not to long ago for 350. Thank god it was the dsl40cr and not the dsl40c. When I got mine I didn’t know there were two versions. Luckily I got the newer version. If you look hard enough and get lucky sure you can get one cheaper. But average is about 550. Kick ass amp though. Works fantastic with my Gibson les Paul standard.

I have this amp as well as a Fender Blues Junior (Tweed Lacquered version). I love the Marshall DSL. It has a fantastic clean sound and can mimic the scoop of a Fender with the tone button. And it's really a four channel with the two volume knobs. It is extremely versatile and very loud - especially with a boost pedal like a Tube Screamer. Having said that, the Fender BJ for me is really special. What it lacks in versatility it makes up in true tone ad response. It feels alive

Sounds great if that Mechanix intro represents the amp

I've had mine for almost 11 years now and in 2014 it was $625, in Scandinavia.

Bought this amp literally yesterday. It sounds great! The “Ultra” channels sound really tight, great for metal, whilst the crunch has a good range of gain, and the clean is very smooth. The only issues with it is that it’s a global EQ, and there’s a decent volume gap between clean and crunch, but at this price, it’s probably the best tube combo for higher gain stuff

Such a good sounding amp. I love mine. But HELL is it ever heavy. Keep that in mind when buying!

Bought mine new around 600 in 2019 if I'm not mistaken. Crazy what they are going for now. Still a great amp and still priced very competitive to other offerings. Inflation sucks

Best amp at any money if you love the Marshall roar with a superb clean.

Got mine a few years back for 700 at guitar center. Best amp I’ve ever owned. Great for practice, gigging, etc

You're talking about used prices, no doubt.

Where the Hell did you get this for $500? Mine was just under $1, 000.

I bought one new £450/$550 in 2020. I’ve had amps 3 times as expensive and nothing sounds as good or is as versatile as this combo amp.

I want to like this amp. I truly do. It would fit all my needs, but the gain sounds like a fuzzy mess.
