It depends what you actually call "friends". Facebook kind of "friends", or ready-to-help -the-middle-of the-night kind of friend? I think friendship is overrated. I have felt guilty for decades for not having the 2nd type of friends, thinking that I WAS THE PROBLEM. Well, actually, your video explains it. I think that a reason why one may not have many friends, it is because when you have been hurt, or prey of narcissists, or traitors, you tend to keep to yourself. You do not believe in friendship anymore. Besides, as being highly intelligent and hypersensitive, you ARE a problem hard to handle for neuro-typical people. You are seen as a weirdo, or as a conspiracy theorist for just questioning some narratives. So, those friendships end up in mutual disagreement and mutual disappointment. So yeah, I have plenty of acquaintances and colleagues, but friends, hardly any.
