Nice thing also, they can be made for any length tail trailing behind that hook. You fishing in the big river port Huron or Detroit area. We were out today jiggin minnows and picked up some nice eyes

I do use stingers and they help. but when are the best times to go on the river. and where?

@lmporter03 I buy crimps and hooks at andy's bait and tackle, Melvindale,Mi. I use #1 crimps inside diameter.033....not double barell

Why not crimp the treble hook side too? That’s what I do. Keeps the overall stinger more straight and in line

they never slip off. To make them them strong use berkley big game line and AFW leader crimps
