My father taught me how to tie a tie when I was a child and I've been using that method for over 20 years. It was fast, easy and did the job. Understandably, I got bored and came across this video. Super easy instructions that leaves a clean, sharp knot. My new favorite knot.

Other than the simplest tie possible, this is the only windsor knot I can do correctly. Took me only one try and I am grateful for this since I need to dress up for something in a few days. Glad I have a tie ready now!

As a Brit' I am rather ashamed that I needed to be reminded (after twenty years of leaving all my ties knotted on hangers) by an American how to do this.
Just kidding.
This helped.
Now I can knot all my washed ties again and leave them another twenty years :)

Took a few tries but i got it. Simple actually. The trick is to make sure u place the small end on the correct sides when instructed to do so. If u accidentally skip one side you wont get that second loop at the end.

Although the video is helpful and to the point, you should explain after looping if face of tie should be in or out and actually watching the video while doing it is disorienting because your left and right are mirrored.
