I am NOT a tie guy but I wanted to learn how to tie a Windsor knot simply as a matter of personal edification and this tutorial taught me how without too much frustration. Thank you.

Gotta be honest - I always loathe an incoming interview because I always have trouble tying a tie. I'm not sure if I've just gotten better over time (I doubt it) or what, but somehow when I got to this video, despite you going pretty fast, I managed to get a perfect windsor on my second attempt. Follow the directions for every tie you own and keep them tied. Just loosen them enough to slide over your head to put them on.

I don't have to tie ties often, but when I do I always have to come on here and watch a quick video because I forget how to do it. It's so easy, and yet for some reason I can never remember how to do it right, or I end up having to do it over because I get the length wrong. This time, however, I got it right on the first try. Yay me!

that's great, I managed to do it fairly easily. the result is way better than the Simple Knot/Oriental Knot method I have been doing.

I was gonna comment about how you raced through this and I wanted you to just SLOW DOWN. However, I think trying to do this at your pace helped a lot. I didn't have time to think, just do lol

I actually find the speed helpful. So many of the other videos try to go too step by step that you actually end up aecond guessing yourself. The guy with the "we're going to call this finger or holder finger and we're going to call this the placeholder is the worst. This is straight and to the point.

Thanks for this: I haven't worn a tie for a decade or more, and I could remember a simple knot, but wanted a windsor, which your tutorial let happen :) I wouldn't go to the Nutcracker without a tie.
