Classical guitars are our passion! We are specialized in the highest quality concert guitars as well as historic guitars from around the world. Our passion for these unique instruments and the joy to give guitarists, passionate players, and collectors the possibility to purchase their own appropriate instrument is the motivation that drives us. Another focus is to work closely with established and young, largely unknown luthiers. Together we want to develop new ideas and share experiences with our customers.

We also recorded pieces for many great composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Astor Piazzolla and Isaac Albeniz (Asturias). You will also find almost all the classical music composers that wrote for the classical guitar. Make sure to discover Agustin Barrios Mangoré, Manuel Maria Ponce, Heitor Villa-Lobos and many more if you don't know their compositions already

You can find our show room in 76137 Karlsruhe, Roonstr. 31, Germany

Dominique Field is one of the best guitar makers worldwide today. He builds guitars in the French guitar-making tradition with an extrordinary level of workmanship and a strong sound-ideal. Due to the great demand, there is now a waiting period of 17 years for a guitar from Doninique Field. Especially current models are very rare to find and are played by leading international artists such as the 2018 Guitar Foundation of America competition winner Rafael Feuillatre.

This guitar was finished in December 2016 and has a Romanian spruce top from 1935, which comes from the workshop of Richard Jacob Weissgerber. Back and sides are made of Indian Rosewood from 1955, which Dominique Field received from Robert Bouchet in 1985. Moreover, this is the first guitar that has Dominique’s new label inside. The number of the instrument and the year of construction are written on the second bar of the guitars’s back. The beautiful tuners are made by Rodgers.

It is an absolutely lovely and very strong sounding guitar with both a huge power and very lyrical and sweet tone. Yet traditionally-built, it has a very intense projection and gives the guitarist a lot of possibilities to modulate the sound. This guitar is in excellent condition with only minimal playing marks on the soundboard. It is an instrument of great elegance with a strong character.

Luthier: Dominique Field
Construction year: 2016
Top: Spruce
Back and sides: Indian rosewood
Scale: 652 mm
Nut: 52 mm
Weight: 1910 grams
Air resonance frequency: F#

When i learned this piece like 20 years ago, most of the people I heard and from recordings played this piece faster than it is commonly played now. I have actually never heard this piece played at this tempo or similar until youtube. But its actually genius, the voicing of the first part was so difficult to get correctly for alot of people and by playing it slower it really allowed each note to shine and give a different flavor. Bravo.

This is another level. It is so Aesthetics. Agustin Barrios was a magician and Giulia is a goddess.

This is orgasmically good . . . I swear, I'm not saying this because of my Italian heritage, but it just seems like the Italian guitar players have the most rich command of color and passion out of anyone! You've inspired me to learn this piece. Thank you!

What I love about her playing is the absolute attention to every note, every nuance. She is deep inside the music. If you scroll down and not watch her play, you are not distracted by her facial expressions, and you hear the smooth intensity and utter command of the instrument.

I want you to know Giulia, that every time i heard this composition, I dance with you, I do not look to the guitar, I just look at you, your interpretation, the way you look to the instrument.... its so honest, so hard to believe, so far but so close the feeling of this music, has no barriers no time no you

Ms. Ballaré puts down here a masterful rendition of a piece that's masterfully composed. Ah Barrios... Such a wonderful composer for the classical guitar! I can't think of any other guitarist who has given us such riches and so many musical gems for this truly beguiling and beautiful instrument! Many thanks and "bravo" to Ms. Ballaré again for this wonderful recording. I have already listened to it several times and will no doubt listen to it for some time to come. GD

I first listened to this piece by Mrs. Ballare. Absolutely enchanted, i tried to find all possible other versions of it and i can say this is the best so far, even better than the versions played by the likes of legendary John Williams. Both intense and tranquil in the same degree. Therefore i was able to understand; it is hard to play a virtuoso composition, play by its rules, obtaining the technique and skill for it. But there is another aspect of playing which cannot be expressed by words so easily, which is deeply individualistic. It is about letting your muscles understand the meaning of the sounds composed together, and using them to express your...self. Maybe sacrifice a part of yourself for it, i don't know.

When i was a student, i was so keen on playing the compositions presented to me in a fast and robotic manner. I was always focused on the prowess, sport of it. My teacher used to tell me that playing a song is not only a challenge, it is an experience and through technique and knowledge i should allow myself to this experience. By watching Mrs. Ballare plays this, now i think i can understand him clearly. Very well played, very well given. Many thanks...
