Remember that the brilliant Barrios was Guarani as well as Spanish. That is why he took the name Mangore, a legendary chief of the Guarani. His indigenous heritage also led him to celebrate and honor in his music the serenity of the forest where his people lived for centuries before Europeans ever arrived.

I’ve tackled many difficult pieces and this one is much much harder then it looks. Beautiful tremolo throughout and I love the tempo and interpretation. Barrios would have been very proud of this guitarist. A shining star amongst us.
