It’s called the Connecticut, lobster roll because it was in the 1920’s in West Haven at Phyllis at Savin Rock. Served warm on a grilled New England style hotdog roll, with butter.

Anything you use mayo with to make a salad should be cold. Mac salad, potato salad, tuna salad... and yess lobster salad.
