I tried this game once. The graphics and combat where really good but it ended up being one of those MMOs that try and force you into subscriptions any way they possibly can. Also Vampire and Werewolf abilities where in need of some improvement last I checked

I really enjoy the game. I love the explorative function and collecting homes, mementos for those homes, and finding the perfect mount for the story I have per character. My brother and I share his account with two characters for each of us and all four of them are very, very different in play styles. Some downsides, which are on my part, are the trials. I wanted a specific mount from the Rock Grove Trial but will never be strong enough to. Also the idea of getting specific end game sets (trial gear, monster sets) turned me off because I'm not that kind of player. So I'll stick to my exploration with my personal favorite mount right now: the azuredoom wrathsteed.

I have never uninstalled or will ever leave Skyrim. Monster hunter and Pokemon being the exceptions, but Skyrim mods have a massive modding community.. I have finally managed to turn mine into a Monster Hunter Skyrim.. all I need is Capcom's approval for their Monsters to throw in. Its gonna be 2023 soon and Skyrim will still be modded and continue to flourish. Like holy hell ppl are upping it to were super computer graphic cards and stuff boost the FPS to realism levels. I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly for years... my name tag thing COMES FROM my modded Skyrim, and yes there are mods for beast taming.. I probably have more than 20 saved games all based around taming, with either a bear or wolf being my starter Pokemon XD I digress, however the MMO Elder Scrolls (this one) yea... anyone remember Fallout 76? Of course not because it's dead. Long live Modded Skyrim!!

i always enjoy the sidequests way more in elder scrolls games, it just feels like the writers were able to have fun there as opposed to the rather dry main story

First time I played it there was not much character customization, so it ended up me being put off it but now I can tell a lot cooler things are added into the game. 👍

It's not worth taking seriously or investing in

the crafting bag is essential if you really want to get into the game as you need it for crafting and the storage space helps a lot

the prices for everything are absurd and the marketing strategy the past two years has been a major cash grab attempt.. a lot of items you could just purchase with crowns are now being marketed under crown gems...a currency you get via gambling on crown

promises for fixed bugs and improving performance has been a load of pandering nonsense with no substantial improvements, in fact a whole year dedicated to fixing the game left it even more broken somehow...

the PVP population and PVE population are declining due to ZOS's poor handling of the game and treatment of it's player base. so pvp is usually dead except for prime time but that's when the lag sets in heavy and PVE guilds are having less and less trial runs.


TLDR....the game is worth playing if you can find joy in what's functionally left of the game. its a great game and it may get better down the road next year but as a veteran PVP and PVE player I can honestly say that if you're looking for an MMO you might opt for a different one....the only reason people play ESO anymore is because they still have fun with friends. but if you arent meeting with friends on it, its pretty dull now a days...

The most important thing for me also from plus is the craft bag, its essential imo if you want to make gold or craft + upgrade your armour ect

Last I checked for most Elder Scrolls games I've played, I usually do Redguards/Nords -- but yeah, I sometimes get tempted to be a sneak archer, using any race. 😂
