ASML | The most important tech company in the world and a European Union success

ASML is the global leader in Lithography machine manufacturing and a key player inside the semiconductor industry. Many people know ASML thanks to the stellar performance of its stock in recent years, but it is less well known how crucial their business is for the world economy, which has been one of the reasons why investors have placed so much confidence in the future of the company. ASML can be considered the greatest business success inside the European Union after the implementation of the treaty of Maastricht and introduction of the Euro, and today they represent the only tech leading firm at a global scale based in Europe. Not only they are the most important manufacturer of Lithography Machines in the world, but they also hold a monopoly inside some of the semiconductor markets, and all the key semiconductor players rely heavily on their supply machines to keep their businesses afloat without any ability to present fair competition.
In this video I aim to explain why ASML is the most crucial company for the world economy and future growth. Why this Netherlands based company can be a decisive factor in the evolution of the US China trade war, and how did they earn more power and importance than any other tech company in the world, becoming irreplaceable and key for the semiconductor industry.

Nice story, nice video but a pity you are including all the time clips from Amsterdam and not Eindhoven. Amsterdam has really nothing to do with ASML since it is based in the small city of Veldhoven practically part of the metro-area of Eindhoven. Also the Technical University of Eindhoven is involved, not Delft. Those are not just details but the essence of the succes of ASML is the ecosystem and culture of collaboration in that part of the Netherlands: Noord-Brabant
