A recent article recaps two studies into fake NMN and other supplements actively sold on Amazon and the information states that tens of thousands of customers are buying fake supplements on the platform monthly. Hi Marcel, great video. As I spend my entire life dealing with NMN, I sometimes forget that not everyone has the necessary information to make informed decisions. Judging by some of the comments on this video (at time of my comment, video still has under 1k views so imagine when it gets to 5k!) it may be wise to do another interview. It pains me to see so many people still taking what they think is genuine NMN. This is not only bad for their health, the main concern, but also the industry as a whole.
Don't bother talking to Amazon, we did that in 2019 and again in 2020, and they do not care and will never change. Can go into more detail during interview.
As for the Health Points from DoNotAge, we are happy to see them received so well! No price increase either, meaning it is essentially a price drop for consumers.

Excellent video! Thanks so much for making this. Supplements only need to be within 10% of their stated potency to be legit under FDA rules (90mg actual on a 100mg declared potency for example). Any ingredient that does not have the dosage disclosed on the front of the label only needs to be within 20%! That’s a big problem for companies that are trying to be honest because they have higher cost. I owned a supplement brand for many years. We had to set up our own manufacturing because this problem was so pervasive back in the 1980’s. Before that I would purchase all the quality ingredients and send them to my manufacturer. The final straw was when I discovered my quality ingredients were for sale by the manufacturer and they tried to substitute cheap ingredients in my products! Aaargh! I caught them doing it! The only way consumers stay safe is when companies like Chromadex do these analyses and people like you do videos like this! Great work. In general, if a company like ProHealth tests well on an expensive, high-demand ingredient like NMN, you can trust their other supplements too.

Do Not Age and many of these other companies are just too expensive, not only for NMN but alot of their other products as well., and that just makes me skeptical to buy from them even if i could afford their prices which i definitely cannot, , Why do they really have to be 3 times too much money? Cut NMN’s price two thirds without compromising product or quantity, , and everybody “who knows“ would buy it.. Am i suppose to believe they cannot make NMN affordable? And especially if it comes from China?? Who can we trust? Theres so much greed in this world, everybody is trying to rape our wallets.

On the hair video, the comments were off, strangely. It’s clear for me that new hair is growing darker than the previous hair. As for Amazon, selling fake or dangerous products is punishable under EU law, and it’s time some countries applied it against Amazon

This is super helpful. I buy Toniq from Amazon UK but I've also bought some of the fake brands from the list and gutted they're fraudulent and Amazon are leaving them up. I've got the list now so good to have that for future purchases.

You don't need NMN or NR to increase NAD+. You can use Niacin which is cheap and widely available to increase NAD+ levels. Niacin converts to NAD+ through the Press-Handler Pathway.

For Europeans the German company Neontes might be an option. They sell NMN Powder which comes with a Swiss lab certificate which confirms the purity of the product. Price is moderate.
