Such an underrated cryptic creature. I wish there was more documentaries and paranormal podcasts on them.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Ningen are responsible for the famous “Bloop” and “Julia” underwater recordings that were said to be the sound of an unidentifiable marine mammal call that maybe larger than a blue whale. A colossal silhouette was spotted by NASA’s satellite when the “Julia” recording took place off the coast from Argentina I believe? The Ningen might had definitely been responsible when that event took place, since these creatures mostly reside in Antarctica and that’s not too far of a swim from the Antarctic to Argentinean coast.

I also believe the Ningen were the inspiration for the legendary Pokémon Lugia from generation 2. I find too many similarities other than the fact the legend comes from Japan.

Very interesting info Swampy! My dad was an old fisherman. He used to say there are stranger things at sea than there is on land. He spoke of mermaid like creatures in the North Sea.
