USB Controllers, adapters, and trackballs are tested with the new Pandora Box 10th Anniversary Edition.
8bitdo brown dongles seem to be the most compatible.

RetroFlag Classic USB game Pad works, 8bitdo SN30 Pro Wired (press Start + B when plugging in to use in "D" mode) works if you dont press Start + B it will connect/disconnect continually. 8bitdo SN30 Pro wireless works wired again press start + B when turning on.

My PS3 controller d pad works but nothing else.. my PS5 controller isn't recognized at all. Xbox wireless connected via wire doesn't work either. I got 3 controller, some of which confirmed working. My PS3 controller is a dual shock 3. So wtf is wrong?

could i ask... do the xbox 360 wired controllers work on saga ex2? if so, im looking to find out the buttons for mario kart 64. which is jump? because i have a ps3 fake wired and jump is Y which is why im thinking of getting a 360 IF the button layout is better, especially for that game

i just tried to connect my pandora to my pc to use it for pc amulation. it didnt work. Unknown Device Identifier. So Sad

The 360 wireless controllers won't work wired as they don't support wired mode, the cables are only for supplying power, So dongle is needed. I expect my MadCatz 360 arcade stick will work if the Tekken sticks also works so that's good to know. I expect it would be a similar case with Xbox One controllers (though they should work in wired mode.), but if analogue doesn't work well it wouldn't be any point using them over an arcade stick.

Do the controllers behave differently from emulator to emulator. I have the 8bitdo pro 2. I plug in the wire to get signal in and no matter what setting I use on the back the results are inconsistent and unreliable. It’s making gameplay very frustrating. My go to game to check for timing and responsiveness is Super Punch Out. I’m getting my ass handed to me on the first minor circuit.
