In this video, I am replacing the front shock absorber on a 2006 V70. It is the same job for doing just the top bearing or mount. Only special tool you need is a spring compressor. Compressing springs can be dangerous so wear proper safety gear and be careful. One side will take anywhere between 30min to 1,5h depending on your experience and also how well things come off.

Why not replace the spring also, looks like an MOT fail to me due to corrosion.

Any joy with the lift kit for xc90! The spring perch is such a restriction on these platforms!! 😢

Some body needs to learn how to hose off the under carriage and wheel wells every so often. My s80 looks as new under by just an spray down removing all that dirt grime. WAY easier to service.
