Legal! Thank you for the video Erika! I think keeping up with the joneses is the worst mistake because people think their peers look down on them for not having x, y, z thing when they really don’t. Instead of bettering yourself, you’re bettering people’s short term opinion of you.

Another thing that helps for me when there are market downturns, I look at the percentage instead of the dollar amount since the percentage is probably going to be a much nicer number.

I have several friends who are multi-millionaires. Some have multiple expensive cars and homes while others appear poor and are show worth of only what they have on them (everything else is sheltered). Your teaching us the things they never teach you in school. We all know why.
I am trying to walk the line between living life (since it is not a trial run) and having a safe retirement income. Every time I feel I made progress, inflation movies my goal post further from me.
