The Sunny redesign does definitely look a lot like Applebloom, the bow in the hair definitely sells it, but I actually like it! The idea of her maybe being a distant descendent that has a striking resemblance is fun! I like it!

Honestly, I feel like a lot of the issues from G5 stem from the fact that it’s supposed to take place in the same world as G4. One of the things that definitely bothers me the most is why in the world is Equestria not covered in a blizzard because it was established in the G4 that if the earth ponies, unicorns, and Pegasi stopped getting along, the Wendigos would show up. Another thing is what the heck happened to all the non-pony sentient races? One of my favorite parts about G4 was just how many other species we got to see that were either pony-adjacent like the Kirin or Changelings or completely separate from ponies in general like the Griffins and Yaks. It’s just sad that they’ve pretty much reduce the only other non-pony species to be some in my opinion badly designed dragons. I never grew up with MLP G1-G3 so I don’t know if those gens were supposed to be connected but it’s just so bizarre that the creators decided to make this current gen related to the previous one considering how many different things G5 and G4 have from each other

No cause your Izzy redesign makes so much sense. they made her stand out so much everything wise in the unicorn grove (or whatever its called) it was horrible, so making her more mellow makes SO much sense for where she's from

I don't hate G5, but calling a special episode Starlight Secrets using the colors of the original Starlight from G4 and not saying much about the episode until release was a low move, there's no way they didn't expect people to think it would be something from the real Starlight(at least Comet was sweet).

Your new personality for Izzy, especially the idea that since she got so good at doing things without magic she uses it less often than you’d expect, kinda reminded me of the fact Bucky Barnes doesn’t always think to use his robo arm cause he’s right-handed

As an Izzy lover, I absolutely LOVE her redesign, it makes so much more sense considering how all the other unicorns are a lot more mellow and down. And I love the fact that Sunny and Izzy are kind of like Celestia and Luna with the sun and moon matching thing

Omg I’m so glad you did this. Gen 5 was honestly such a let down and I’ve been loving MLP since I was very young (gen 4 child but I enjoy the earlier generations too). I just wish more time and thought was put into it than just something that feels thrown together last minute in order to please fans.

I don't know if you heard of her, but in the show, they also introduced a new character called Misty Brightdawn who I think was on the evil side first but is now a part of the mane 5 (/6)! So if you want to redesign Hitch as well, you could put him in a video with Misty and then you've got them all in 2-ponies-per-video-videos :)

I feel like mlp G5 is another example of when *shows/franchises* get stretched too far, such as spongebob, Monster high, strawberry shortcake, etc. All the second to last versions we're given were amazing; but the very last version ultimately mucked up their legacy.

I LOVED Hitch! His colours qre so nice and i kind of like hos charactwr in the movie. I like that he cares so much about Sunny and how he reluctantly joins the team towards the end. I also think making one of them a boy is fun! His personality seems unique to G5 in ways that i cant really say for some of the others, especially Zip and Izzy..

6:55: Izzy was my favorite of G5. Izzy was very chill and artistic, how is she a Pinkie Pie clone? Izzy is quirky and bubbly but she is interested in art and she isn't really trying to make friends with her quirkiness, ponies seem to think she's weird.
