The power adapter has a glaring problem - it has a false ground. You can plug a grounded plug into it but the adapter itself doesn’t have a ground that goes into the wall.

Heads up!! Unless that electrical outlet converter is also a transformer, DO NOT USE IT WITH BASIC US POWER CORDS!!! French and UK outlets output power at around 200-240 volts, whereas American plugs only output to around 100-120. If you plug in a cord that can’t take more than the normal America amount of volts, it will completely fry the wiring in the cord and maybe the device attached to it. See if that converter is also a power transformer, you can look at the instructions or the box I’m assuming to find out. If it’s not, check your cords to make sure they either have a built in transformer (one of those box looking things around half way up, they’ve got them on most laptop chargers) or check the cords volt input to make sure it can handle it first.
