The road has not been easy for “Dance Mom’s” star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But if anything, Abby has proven she is a fighter and is not ready to hang up the dance shoes. The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most…teaching students to dance! With the goal of putting her life, health and dance studio back together, Abby returns to where it all began – the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh.

I do agree with Jill when she said “I can’t believe Melissa brought Maddie to the set” because Maddie didn’t audition for the music video. Plus she already had a job that week. I think it was with Disney, so I think she was definitely taking attention away from the other girls, and I don’t think that was really fair

okay but the way holly and nia were so happy abt nia playing a waitress. even if she didn’t get the main role, nia and holly were great sports abt it.

As much as I don’t agree with Abby on a lot, she did always tell Mackenzie to work on her improve skills for reasons like this. You could see she was uncomfortable improving without being given exact steps to follow and in auditions they sometimes expect performers to us initiative without learning choreo beforehand. Out of panic I think she ended up relying on her tricks because it’s what she does most often even when they said not to do them. Kenzie felt more comfortable when being told how and what to perform but struggled on the spot improving.

In my Opinion, you could tell Leslie wanted it more than Peyton. It’s crazy how these moms lived vicariously through their daughters. Peyton obviously wanted to dance with her friends and Leslie (In my Opinion) saw this as revenge towards Abby.

I honestly think Kendall should have gotten the lead in the music video. Her dancing and vocals were amazing. I can’t believe they said she’s forgettable.

How was the music video situation not sorted in advance? Abby was right in principle, but the timing was unprofessional. The director should have spoken to Abby in advance and not tried to sneak past Abby and have Melissa sign the contract.

i’ll say this about mackenzie’s singing. she had a great tone and obviously could sing, but she did not follow the tune well. she almost switched keys a couple times and had several notes that were very out of tune. she’s obviously got a good voice but i’m just surprised no one ever talks or seems to notice that her singing definitely wasn’t perfect.

Peyton was not "on the team" ...she was an extra when they needed an older girl....although a good dancer, Peyton was like 4 years older n didn't belong on a junior team....Brooke was smaller and younger and the oldest actual team member....

I really think if Jojo could sing she would have probably got the part I don’t feel she could have done any better performance wise and she was the right height. I personally feel Kendall did so well too but she was maybe too tall. Kenzie had experience and was the right height, she sang well, but she didn’t really listen and do what they asked, she didn’t seem very confident either. But Kenzie has always struggled improving so I can see why she seemed uncomfortable.

The moms do not understand how auditions work. Abby is not having the girls audition to decide whether or not they remain on the competition team. She is giving the girls experience with auditions - the only way to eventually eradicate audition anxiety for future auditions.

It feels weird to see Erik on the screen working with kids because, believe it or not he got arrested for having inappropriate relationships with MINORS! Good old Hollyweird…
