Use LIVE TUNING to INSTANTLY Improve Your Race Times | Need for Speed Heat Live Tuning Guide

This video is my guide on how to properly live tune your car. It explains each of the live tuning settings and takes you through an example of how I live tune my cars.

Hopefully this is helpful in some way as that's always my goal.

This guy is the only channel who legit actually helps the everyday gamer. His nfs heat videos are always golden for great info and examples.

Using that menu is just like texting on your phone while driving. You think you will be fine if you look across at it but you end up going through a lamppost

Does Anyone Here Still Play Nfs Heat In 2024?

I recommend always maxing the steering sensitivity, as it lets you react faster to avoid cops, traffic, other racers, and anything else that might get in your way.

50 hours into the game, I haven't touched live tuning. I feel like I am ready now. Thanks

Hey, I found something interesting with the drift style.

Did you notice that when using Brake drift style, you can still initiate a drift by letting go and hitting the gas?
This means you either can choose to exclusively use the Gas drift style... or BOTH Brake and Gas.
Strange, isn't it?

I never mess with the live tuning because there was never a mention on what either of them did.

I only recently started putting my downforce to low but it has helped my times a lot

Also great video!

I owned the 2006 WRX STI both tuned and untuned.. When driving this car at speed which is far less than what you can achieve in game with the Boxer engine.. also try handbrake turns.. They work insanely well with the real car.

when you do a "you're using the wrong build" on the gt3 rs, please use it with maxed high steering sensitivity, maxed high downforce,
traction control on and gas to drift for grip, it becomes so angelic to drive, and hits corners so well

I love it can go from track to drift mode 180sx just hauls all and drift around the whole track in circuit races

I always go with brake drift because I'm always in the cockpit and need instant response on the tight turns. I kind of throw the car into it harder than others. Most times in the same turns I end up drifting in front of them on the second half of the turn, so if I switch it back to gas my timing is delayed and I just smack into them, or miss the turn entirely lol Kind of sucks how you can drift like a sloppy asshole and get over 800k on most drift courses. Hopefully the next installment has a 'clean' bonus like.. a double multiplier at the end if you hit nothing

You did help me understand live tuning better so hopefully I'll be able to use my vehicles the way I want to it was a vehicle that was turning right but it's getting out way too much

Tuning while racing is like what f1 drivers do. Usually they have to adjust brake bias settings and differential settings while entering the corner in order to go as fast as possible.

just bought a mclaren F1...before you make the "you are using the wrong build" video of it...and reached level 50...now the grind is for the ultimate parts

i usually go to the racetrack, run laps on the inner ring without nitrous and set my downforce to full and then see if i lose traction in the back. if i don't lose traction i turn up steering sensitivity until i lose traction, staying with my setting just barely below losing traction in realistic cornering speed. if i already lose traction after setting downforce to full i put steering sensitivity down. and if i can still have traction with full steering sensitivity i lower the downforce just below where i would lose it. thats a pretty safe way to set it up. its also where you can test whether race or track tires are better for your car. the less downforce you need for your tires, the better suited your tires are for the setup.

This video help me out a bunch, not so much in live tuning, but with an issue I'm having with cars that won't turn(r8, I'm looking at you!). Btw - love your build videos, it's my goto on every car.
Thanks for doing this
