The snare sounds like it’s from a band room

I think all of the toms sound killer but that snare drum is definitely choked. Loosen up the wires a bit so that snare can sing and have killer Dynamics. Love the kit though man. No hate, just some advice.

The tom sound was like watching a beautiful woman from toe to head and then the snare sound was like her opening her mouth and seeing some jacked up teeth.

If your snares are choked check the reso and make sure that it’s in tune with itself and the batter then add the wires. A lot of times the heads choke the sound and not the wires themselves.

That 16 inch floor tom(?) sounds amazing. Perfect mix of highs and lows, it's spectacular.

Experiment with tuning the resonant heads on the toms with higher pitch than the batter heads, especially on the floor toms. You can tune the floor toms up a bit too.
If you’re wanting a tight snare, tightening the snares will choke it and ruin the sound. If you want it tight, firstly tune both heads higher and muffle the batter head with a cloth on the edge or a snare weight or something similar. Secondly, use wires with fewer strands. 18 strand or less will give you a tight and crisp snare.

You might adjust the reso heads, at least on the 10". For some reason I'm thinking that one is cranked up too much. Taste in sound is subjective, if it sounds good to you, it sounds good. Also, I love how deep the 16 is.

I don’t know if the snare heads are just dead, but if they aren’t, try tuning them a minor or major third apart. That should give a much fuller sound. Also, you might want to tune the snare drum so that the snares don’t ring so much from the toms.

Loosen those snares they’re crying from being choked

Back to the drawing board especially the Floor tom
Try this tune reso super low, the tighten top just enough to get a rebound. Snare sounds like money if it was just alittle tighter.
The intervals sound alittle off.
You'll get there, keep practicing, I use a Drum-Dial, helps to get a good start?
Best of luck man.

The toms are tuned to standard 440 guitar tuning

First four sounded like the standard ukelele tuning

It’s tuned like the open strings on a guitar! Awesome!

Nice tuning! I wont comment on the snare because over enoguh has been said about it. One thing though is that I recommend coated heads if your weird like me and hate seeing stick marks.

The reso needs to be wayyyy tighter on the snare

A 100 times better than mine! What kind of kit is that ? I have a Tama imperial star and stock heads and thought of getting Remi heads. Should I use Evan’s instead?

Toms sound great, pretty high decay though.

That snare definitely needs some work but overall pretty good!

Question. Whenever I hear drums here on youtube they're always sounding short and sharp. When I play my toms each drum seems to have a long echo or drawn out note like it's in a hall or I have the reverb turned right up, so to speak. My kick drum is short and quick which I've put a blanket in. Does this mean I have to put sound deadener in all my other drums as well to stop the long drawn out note? I also play in a shed but the kit is on a carpet rug which I thought would deaden the sound, so could it be the shed making it sound so echoey? I wouldn't have thought that would affect the actual drawn out note when I hit the toms. Like I said with a blanket in the kick drum that has a quick dull thud which is the effect I want with all the other drums. My snare drum is fine too. That has a short quick sound. So it just seems to be all the tom drums that echo 🤔. I'm guessing the room it's played in would make a difference to the sound to some degree. My drumkit has clear heads. Maybe I could try those gel suppressors that go on the drum heads, but I don't want to lose any of the power of the note, I just want it shorter and not carry for so long.
