I applaud your patience and tenacity. This is the type of project you tend to find unfinished in the corner of somebody's work shop. I probably would have got the leads on the 512 LED's bent and called it quits, lol.

Most complicated, most confusing, most amazing, most spectacular, most entertaining, most beautiful thing I have seen on YouTube. Really like your patience

Well done! I so admire people that do projects like this.
It would be great if you could sell the wooden jigs - or indeed all components as part of a kit.

Impressive patience! It is a great example for trading cost with time. I would rather replace those breadboard circuits with custom made PCBs, it would greatly reduce the tedious wiring need/time at the cost of the PCBs and the less tedious PCB CAD design.

ok i have decided to go with your guide for building my RGB LED cube. i have som experience with electronics and soldering, i have made some tesla coils and other projects but this is on another level.

thank you for making this guide, i have ordered the parts ^^

That is a perfectly done project. Congrats. Very informative and detailed explanations and really great patience, sir. I've saved that project for my time in retirement and I'll make it in a couple of months. Bravo.

Love the soldering Jigs.... I have tried soldering LEDs in a row, I never thought of this... 👍

Thank you, I have been looking at these cubes for a minute. So many different builds and ways to do the electronics. Your circuit bending skills are quite impressive

Wow! This is the best led cube I've seen. I wish there's a pcb layout for etching method and for easier way of making it. Thank you for this wonderful video sir!

Great project, I might try to replicate.
However, few toughts: I would try to fit 4/8 channels on one board (maybe one/two boards for each color?) and make a backplane to fit the boards (with the node controller and power lines) . Do not fear to play with the placement of components and maybe try to use the components leads (resistors mainly) to save some wired connections. That way leave less room to errors. Nice layout of the boards, but in my opinion, could fit more circuits on one board.

You have done extremely good job, and can you please upload the anode & shift register board test code and schematic which you have used. Thanks

Pure genious
I wouldn't even dare to try this by myself... Dunno if it is harder to create the code or the electric part...
Sir, this is art.
I mean
THIS IS FUCKING ART, CONGRATULATIONS SIR YOU DID IT

If you play this video at 1x speed, you can hear your plants grow. I just fell asleep nearly 40 times over the length of this video, but i finally made it to the end. Never mind, i would not do it again...
