Xavier Vlad, who heads up the Center for Advanced Material Irradiation, describes an experimental oddity: one test sample vanished from the vacuum chamber at the end of an ion beam line and appeared in a separate chamber in a different area of the lab. Dare we call it teleportation?

ABOUT THE PROFESSOR: Xavier Vlad is a professor of Material Irradiation at the University of Michigan College of Engineering. His research group, the Composition Analysis Lab (CAL), uses ion beams to probe the structure and composition of materials.

This video was published on April 1, 2013 as an April Fools joke. The content is fictional.

the thing that bugs me is that he just said "ah guess what it worked" if it was me I would have said "OMG IT FRICKEN WORKED"

If the government knew how to teleport objects, even inanimate, they would not present this information to the public for national security

"For April Fool’s Day, the College of Engineering produced a video stating that Materials Science Prof. Xavier Vlad had found a way to teleport a small key from one end of a machine to the other."

This is likely possible.... only metal objects are potential to be teleported.... through quantum entanglement or also known as the "Spooky Effect". So this machine shoots high energy particles that converts matter into energy and then since E=Mc2... energy equals matter... i can see how they may have built a machine to do the reverse. Interesting

Well for all the other teleportation vids on YT this one is a lot more believable, hopefully if it is it is well focused on and developed.

We know it's real because the camera does not stay on continually throughout the process.
