Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said on Thursday (September 19) that Israel has "a big protector in me," and that if he is not elected president Israel will face "total annihilation."
Former President Trump made the comments at the Israel-American summit on Thursday (September 19).
Trump also lamented only 40% of Jewish Americans will vote for him, according to a poll he cited. "And honestly, you ought to have your heads examined. You ought to have your heads examined. And those votes may be necessary for us to win," Trump added.
