Really poor narration. The Piper M500 is not the first aircraft in the world to be certified for flight into know icing conditions. Also, none of these aircraft use gasoline.

That comment in the beginning of the video must be tailor made for the ignorant public, "most future flying will be by propeller". The change over point been fuzzy, but since the engine makers started using high by-pass fan engines, all the planes are effectively glorified turbo props. This been hammered home by the effective speed limits of jets which were limited by the "sound barrier" which been that way for 3/4 century. A "jet" had their propeller hidden by a shroud, which increase efficiency but add weight and complexity. The most bang for the buck in the video had to be the PC12 and the Epic, the PC12 have a better cargo door design than others. I have a hard time understanding how the Embraer cost several times that of other equivalent aircraft. The fact you bothered mentioning FADEC in some of the planes is a sore point, because Pratt and Whitney hogged 70% of the world's small turbine market, they feel they can slack off and relax. Instead of being one of the first to have FADEC, the US parent company had already done much of the R and D, they were among the last. They were basically 20 years late. They were only forced to do something when GE threat are coming over the horizon. Another tech advance I am looking for is better pizzo electric anti ice system. Rubber boots are expensive, old tech, and TKS is that and heavy as well.

Piston planes at the end of WW2 were topping 400 mph, whilst carrying armament and metal plates for pilot protection. Interesting …
