I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE the fact that it was straight to the point. Simple. No intro, just straight into the video, giving me the information I wanted

I clicked the link because of the thumbnail image. The Glasair III is the most interesting of all these, by a large margin… to this humble man.

Piper 350 mentioned is the only one pressurized with a cabin class cabin that can carry six and doesn't require drivers and passengers to suck on oxygen to get max performance. Cabin class is much comfier than the smaller squeeze them in 4 seaters mentioned.

Almost 1000 SF-260s were made and it's still in production. The comments about poor research and fact-checking and misleading seem valid.

Is my hearing going bad or did I hear you say the Glasair III burns 10 gallons per hour? Realistically it's a 16-17 gph at 75% power.

Cirrus, Mooney, Piper are NOT 260kt planes. Not even close. Also, citing a top max speed has ZERO meaning because no one can push a piston engine to 90+ % power for longer than a few minutes without damage. The properly described performance for these planes one must cite the CRUISE speed (not even max cruise either) which is at 75% power. The Cirrus SR22T (turbo) cruise is 175kts with a 315hp engine at 16.5gph. The Piper 350 a 4300lb gross weight aircraft with a Lycoming TIO-540-AE2A engine, 350hp cruising at 190kts at 25gph. The Mooney also hypes bogus performance numbers, it is about the same speed as the Cirrus turbo.

Way back in the 70's aircraft like the Turbo-charged Bellanca Super Viking were advertised to "cruise" at 235 M.P.H. And (back then!) we thought that was pretty darn FAST !!!!
But doesn't the MU-2 twin turbo-prop "cruise" at up to 365 M.P.H. ? Is any twin turboprop of today actually any

Why does the video say "300mph+" when an SR22 is doing max 183knots?

I need a 1700NM Single under 1, 5mil. Can you do a video on the longest range with less cost?
For me the best aircraft ever made is the SEABEAR L-65 !
