Dr. Huberman, thank you for not ignoring older women’s health concerns as much of the popular media does. These topics don’t get enough attention despite impacting half the population at some point in their lives.

Thanks for posting this - so important for women in ages of fertility to be aware of these biometric signs. Also a reminder for me to go back and watch the full interview with this incredible woman!

So what if we didn’t treat the hot flashes and night sweats, and they did go away?
Do we still have a biomarker for dementia, osteoporosis and cardio metabolic disorders?

What about if you are a breast cancer survivor? I was told hormone treatment would never be an option for someone who has gone through treatment for BC?

I’ve started to notice symptoms now, as I turned 40 - constant feeling I need to urinate, a short period 10 days after my previous one; I’m more irritable/emotional, I make simple errors I never used to; high crew necks now feel like scratchy torture devices on my skin, and I feel less energetic than I used to. Going to my GP about it soon, as I suspect it’s perimenopause *sigh*

Jadore la comparaison entre le cellulaire et le jumeau qu'on aime bcp, mais qui nous dévie de notre attention. Très bonne image qui m'a fait réfléchir: je preparerai ma playlist AVANT mon entraînement ! 👌

I'm a 44yr old breast cancer survivor that underwent a double mastectomy at age 36. I was on birth control and was told to get off it once I was diagnosed with the type of breast cancer I had. What is some treatments I could try as I believe I am perimenopausal. And my grandmother and my great aunt both had alzheimers. My grandma was probably about 65 when she started showing symptoms. My great aunt was her sister and she was in a nursing home with full blown alzheimers by the age of 52

I’m 46 and still on the pill. I’ve noticed my hair has been falling out way more than usual the past 2 weeks. Is this normal?

I'm curious what Dr. Gottfriend thinks about the fact that doctors now tell women to get a Pap smear every 3 years? I find this absolutely unbelievable given how quickly cervical cancer can show up.

Is it driving anyone else's OCD mind crazy that one of her sleeves in pushed up and the other is not?

Besides Dr. G grandstanding about the cruciality of women's sexual autonomy--I suppose she really thinks of women as robots to be rejiggered with a few supplements--there wasn't any substance. Fish oil and rhodiola? Are you kidding me? Ashwaganda? This is how advanced we are? You get better hormone balance from fermented vegetables.

You can see she has a couple of good points here.
